Skill Drill 8: Drive the Net

Purpose

Quick shots -- drive to the net.

Description

X1 and X2 take 2 shots each at goalie with quick release.

As soon as X1 shoots both pucks (X2 shoots), X1 goes around pylon, picks puck up on boards and passes to D1 who passes to D2 (return pass) and takes a low shot on net.

X1 and X2 drive net for rebounds.

Variations

• Add coach below goal line and give pass for X1 and X2 to shoot.
