1996-97 AWCHA All-East Club Championship

General Information

• The A-level tournament is for club teams with experienced players (i.e. players with more than 2 years of experience).

• The B-level tournament is for club teams with players new to hockey (2 years or under of experience).

• The A-level tournament will consist of 6 teams and B-level will consist of 3 teams.

• A-level teams will have 3 games guaranteed and B-level teams will have 2 games guaranteed.

• The entrance fee is $300 for A-level teams and $200 for B-level teams.

• Game times will be as follows:

  	Thursday, March 6 	7:00pm - 10pm
  	Friday, March 7 	5pm - 10:45pm
  	Saturday, March 8	12pm - 10:00pm
  	Sunday, March 9		9am - 12:15pm and 4:30pm - 8:45pm
  

• Prizes will be awarded to the champion and runner-up of the A-level and to the champion of the B-level.

• The top 2 teams, and possibly the 3rd team, in the A-level will be invited to the AWCHA Club Championships to be held at Ohio State University, April 18-20, 1997.
• This tournament is sponsored in part by Play it Again sporting good store.

Note: Standings for the A-tourney semifinals will be determined by points: win-2, tie-1, loss-0. Tie-breakers are determined by (in order): number of wins, head to head, goals differentials, most goals for, least goals against, and least penalty minutes.

Box scores will be made available on a day to day basis.

• Rooms have been reserved at the following hotel. Reservations must be booked by Monday February 17, 1997. In order to reserve rooms for the tournament you MUST mention that you are reserving for the MIT All-East Club Championship Women's Ice Hockey Tournament. Rooms will be $55 a night:

• Special requests for game times and dates will be considered. Any such requests must accompany this entry form and must be in writing.

• Entries must be postmarked by February 7, 1997 and the full entry fee must accompany all entry materials (checks payable to Jill Depto).

• Final roster must be in by February 21, 1997.
