Tournament Information

4th ANNUAL MLK INVITATIONAL
Girls'/Women's Hockey Tournament
Jan. 13, 14 & 15, 2007 
San Jose, California

Sanctioned USA Hockey Tournament – (# to follow)
Five Girls' & Two Women’s Divisions
***Canadian teams welcomed***
10U – 1996 & later	
12U – 1994 & later		
14U – 1992 & later
17U – 1989 & later	
20U – 1986 & later	     
Sr. "A/B" and Sr. "C" 

Format:
Format depends on number of teams in division 
(4 games per team guaranteed + championship for finalists)  
We are planning on 4 to 8 teams per division. 
Space is limited to 42 teams, so please apply early.
  
Final games scheduled for Monday morning 
with last game ending by 1:00pm.
Games:  3 - 15 minutes stop periods 
using the 2 Referee system.

Features include:  
4 NHL size rinks with full service sports bar (Stanley's) 
which overlooks three rinks	
Team Awards for Champions
MVP Prizes for each game 

2006 MLK Tournament featured "AAA" teams from across the US and Canada:
Anaheim Lady Ducks, Arizona Selects, Bridgewater Bears, Cal Selects, Colorado Select, Pittsburgh Iceburghs, and San Jose Jr. Sharks.
Canadian teams included the Dawson Blues, Storm U21, Surrey Flyers and Maple Ridge Barracudas.
Women’s teams included Texas Blaze, San Jose Sharks and Oakland Seals.  

Entry fee must be received no later than Nov. 1, 2006.
All teams must be USA Hockey or HC registered.
Online roster (final only) must be completed and
digital team photo (5x7) to be submitted
no later than Dec. 1, 2006. 

Cost: $1050US per team.
