4th Annual Winterlude Showcase Tournament -Presented by the Ottawa Senators Women's Hockey Club (OWHA Event) Contact: 613-599-0227, tournaments@bellsensplex.ca website: http://www.bellsensplex.ca/tournaments/details.aro?tID=213 This 4th annual, well-organized event will be run at THE BEST facility in the National Capital Region, during North America's greatest winter festival - Winterlude. Teams will play games on 3 NHL & 1 International sized ice surface, with Stanley's Restaurant overlooking the action below. There will be between 16 and 24 invited teams from all across North America. Some tournament features include: -Prizing awarded to Champions & Finalists -Awards Ceremony Following EVERY Game for Player of the Game selections from both teams -Tournament Most Valuable Player awarded at conclusion of Championship Game -Tournament Memento for all players -3 to 6 games -Great competition -Exclusive access for NHL tickets to allow tournament participants and their families to see the Ottawa Senators vs Boston on Thursday, Feb 5th OR the Ottawa Senators vs Buffalo on Saturday, Feb 7th subject to availability -Best facility anywhere for tournaments -Fantastic hotels, shopping and amenities within 3 minutes of Tournament Headquarters The Bell Sensplex features plenty to compliment the action on the ice including: Stanley's Restaurant & Bar Gear UP! pro-shop presented by Play-it-Again Sports iPlay Network Gaming Lounge Kevin Haime Indoor Golf Centre Peak Centre for Human Performance (workout facility) There will be no gate or admission fees for this event! Period Length 3 X 15 WITH a FLOOD after every two periods of play for round-robin and early playoff games. Championship & Bronze Medal Games will be 2 X 15, 1 X 20 WITH a FLOOD after the 2nd period.
