North Country Community College (NCCC) is located in Saranac Lake, NY
(next to Lake Placid).  It is a two-year unit of the State University
of New York, and it has just started a women's hockey program!!!  NCCC
is the first US junior college to offer women's hockey.

We would love to be listed somewhere in your women's hockey web page.
This is a great opportunity for women who need a year or two at a
junior college to get a stronger academic start before heading on to a
Division I or III program.

Our tuition is $1,100 per semester for NY residents and $2,200 per
semester for non-residents. An unbelievable bargain. Players play and
train at the 1980 Olympic Arena, where the US took the gold at the
Olympics in 1980!

Our women have just started dry land training, and will hit the ice in
October 1995.
