Female - Defense Camp Penticton Location Only For Girls 13 - 17 years old August 1 - 7, 2010 Program Highlights: • Female players ages 13 - 17 • Penticton Location Only • Sunday Registration - Program runs Monday - Friday Coaching Staff Colleen Sostorics Camp Instructor 3 Time Olympic Gold Medal Winner Sostorics has played extensively for the Canadian National Women’s team at the international level, winning three Olympic gold medals (2002 in Turin, 2006 in Salt Lake City, and 2010 in Vancouver). At the Women's World Championships, Sostorics has helped Canada to three gold and three silver medals, and at the 4 Nations Cup, she has captured five gold medals and one silver medal. Sostorics also competes at the club level for the Calgary Oval X-Treme of the Western Women's Hockey League (WWHL). Rebecca Russell Head Coach Female Midget Team Okanagan Hockey Academy Rebecca played for the U-22 Canadian National Team in 2004 and Attended senior national team camps in 2005/2007. She has played four seasons for the Calgary Oval Xtreme in the WWHL. Most recently Rebecca has worked as Assistant Coach for the University of Calgary women’s team and Team Canada’s National U-22 women’s team. Gina Kingsbury Assistant Coach Female Midget Team Okanagan Hockey Academy Two time Olympic Gold medal winner with the Canadian National team.
