This BC owned and operated all female hockey school has 2 locations,
Summerland in the Okanagan Valley and Mill Bay on Vancouver Island.
Summerland is located about 20 minutes north of Pentiction and 55 minutes
south of Kelowna. Mill Bay is between Victoria and Duncan on the south
end of Vancouver Island.
Both schools offer a room and board program as well as a day program. The
camps consists of the following: 3 hours of on ice instruction daily
power skating
puck control and shooting
offensive/defensive strategies
conditioning and mental preparation
fitness and nutrition
The Camp instructions are certifed and come from BC, Washington state
and Ontario.Each instructior brings a wealth of hockey knowledge and
experience to the school.The head instructor is Nancy Wilson from Langley
BC.She is currently coaching a Bantam AAA rep team in Surrey BC and is
also assitant coach of the under 22 Womens National team. She is the
former coach of Team BC that attended the 1999 Canada Winter Games.
Summerland offers a High Performance program and Goalie program as well
as a camp for the beginner and seasoned player who wishes to improve
their skills.
ages are: 7-12 years old
13-17 years old
over 17 years of age
Dates: Summerland July 23-29/2000
Mill Bay: August 20-25/2000
