The Whitby Girls Hockey Association is Hosting 
it's 5th Annual Pink Ribbon of Hope Charity Hockey 
Game in Support of the Canadian Breast Cancer 
Foundation. 

Over the past 5 years we have raised over $50,000 
towards this cause. It has been our Charity of 
choice which allows association members the 
opportunity to "Give something back to thier 
community". 
Numerous players from both the Senior National 
Team, Under 22 Program and the NWHL have supported 
this game each year providing the audience with a 
lot of fun, some zany antics on ice as well an 
opportunity to pay tribute to those who ave lost 
their lives or continue this battle. Please feel

We have been fortunate enough to have this game 
supported by Wally Kozak,  Ken Dufton and Danielle Sauvageau. 
The date of this years Game is tentatively set for 
Saturday March 1st, 2003 in the afternoon or early 
evening. 
We also have an alternative date for the Sunday 
March 2nd, 2003. 

All proceeds go directly to the CBCF and I would 
love to hear back from the players as to their 
inclusion into this game. Would it be possible to 
forward on this information to the athletes and 
have them respond directly to myself so our, 
sponsorship, promotion and marketing materials can 
underway. 
We truly do our best to ensure the athletes are 
treated first class and once we know the players 
availability we will work on Honarariums for them. 

At this point also, if there are players in the 
West or East outside of the GTA we will be looking 
at Air Transportation within our budget. We really 
want our 5th anniversary to be truly special and 
the interest has already started with requests for 
when this Charity Game will be held.

confirm with the Town Of Whitby if this date is 
suitable.
