WOMEN'S ICE HOCKEY ASSISTANT COACH
COLGATE UNIVERSITY

Assistant Women's Ice Hockey Coach. Colgate University, an NCAA Division I member of the Patriot League Conference and the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference, invites applications for an assistant coaching position in women's ice hockey. This is a nine-month position to begin September 1 1998. Past playing and/or coaching experience is required, preferably at the collegiate level. The individual hired will be responsible for assisting the head coach in all phases of the women's ice hockey program, within university, conference and NCAA rules and regulations. AssIstant Ice Hockey Coach, The University of Connecticut is seeking qualified candidates for a graduate assistant coaching position with the ice hockey program. Responsibilities include: assisting in all aspects of the ice hockey program at the Division I level with emphasis on recruiting and player development. Qualifications: Bachelors degree required; applicant must be admissible to a University of Connecticut graduate program with full-time status; Division I collegiate coaching and playing experience preferred; strong interpersonal skills in dealing with student-athletes and the general public required; knowledge and responsibility for adhering to the policies, rules and regulations of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) and the NCAA required.
