Imperial Oil Ltd is the proud sponsor of the Esso Women's National Championship, which was held March 25th-28th at the new Hershey Centre in Mississauga. This year was the eighteenth edition of the annual classic and featured teams from eight provinces. The eight provinces in attendance were divided into two groups, as follows: Pool A - Alberta, Quebec, Saskatchewan, PEI; Pool B - Ontario, New Brunswick, British Columbia, Manitoba.
Co-hosting the 1999 event were the Canadian Hockey Association, Ontario Women's Hockey Association and the Mississauga Girl's Hockey League. All hockey fans were invited come to watch the best in their country compete for the Canadian title.
The 1999 Esso Women's National Championship took place over four days and 20 games of competition at the brand-new, 5,420-seat Hershey Centre in Mississauga. The 1999 Esso Women's National Championship game was played at 7:30 p.m. on March 28 and televised live on The Sports Network (TSN), and their French counterpart, Le Reseau des Sports (RDS).

Event Packages are on sale now. For only $25.00 per adult and $15.00 for seniors and children (under 12) fans can see four days of the best in Canadian women's hockey at Mississauga's finest sports venue, the Hershey Centre. There will be a total of 20 games over four days concluding with the Bronze and Gold/Silver games on Sunday March 28. Seating for the Bronze and Gold/Silver games will be reserved seating with all other games general admission.
Turn Back Policy - If you purchase a package and cannot attend some of
the games, you can turn your tickets back and they will be given to a
deserving individual. In appreciation of your kind donation your name
will be entered into a draw.
