In fact, Dube still competes against the men, her most recent team the Central Texas Stampede of the Western Professional Hockey League.   A few years ago, the Vancouver native was the third-string goaltender for the Penticton Panthers of the British Columbia Jr. A circuit. One of her teammates on the squad was none other than Anaheim Mighty Ducks standout Paul Kariya.   EUROPEAN FLAVOR: A number of European players are members of teams in the Toronto area, including Swiss defenceman Mirjam Baechler of the Newtonbrook Panthers and Finland's Sari Krooks, who played for the North York Aeros. Doris Wyss of Team Switzerland spent a year working as a nanny in Vancouver and played club hockey in B.C.   BALANCED SCORING: Canada has won the last three official world championshps but interestingly, never had a skater win the scoring title. The top point-getter from the 1990 tourney was Cindy Curley of the U.S., Cammi Granato of the U.S., sister of NHLstar Tony Granato, won the scoring race at the 1992 worlds and the 1994 leader was Riika Nieminen of Finland. Canada's Danielle Goyette, a member of this year's team, placed second at the last two worlds in scoring...Former Leaf great and Hall of Famer Borje Salming is coaching a women's division two team in the Stockholm area.
