For a Special Sister on Her Wedding Day,

Once upon a time there were 3 little girls.
You know, the ones that Ruth always had dressed in curls.

They lived on a farm out in Peterborough.
Which was good for Terry who could always find a garden to hoe.

They grew up playing all kinds of sports and games.
They stuck together like glue, and would never call each other names.

Now each of the girls had her own personality.
Nancy, the youngest, was a soccer player, you see.

Andria preferred hockey, although most sports suited her fine.
As for Leslie, she found, that mountain biking was most up her line.

Now a little more about Leslie, as today's her special day.
Luckily, about Leslie, we have plenty to say! :-)

Leslie's your woman, if you have something to sew.
She can whip up a wedding dress in less than an hour, you know.

But it's quite obvious that these beautiful dresses today,
must have taken a lot more time, wouldn't you say?

Older sister Leslie was great to have around when we were growing up.
When there was an argument with the parents, for Leslie there was no giving up!

Just talk to Leslie for a bit and you will see.
That a shortage of words is not in her vocabulary!

When I think of Leslie's personality,
kindness is a word that comes to me.

She'd do anything, for anyone,
For her, helping people, is a lot of fun.

Leslie always has optimistic ways,
even on those hot haying days.

She has more time and patience than you could possibly think.
She'd sit for hours to make sure a weak lamb gets a drink.

As a sister, you could always count on her.
She'd do what it takes to help you, for sure.

Eventually, Bill, the bike-man, started to come around.
And as most of us have witnessed, turned Leslie right upside down.

And now we're happy that they're husband and wife,
and that they'll be together for the rest of their life.

We'll miss being called the Hunter girls three,
but getting a new brother is good, you see.

We don't like to think of it as losing a sister,
But rather that we're gaining a really super mister.

On closing, we'd like to wish this special couple the best,
We're sure that this marriage will be filled with happiness and zest!

Love Andria
