We know how much having our friends and family nearby and helping us out meant to us and Joséphine, and how much more difficult it would have been without this support network. In lieu of flowers, we're sure Joséphine would appreciate donations to the Ronald McDonald House.

The Ronald McDonald House offers a heavily subsidized home-away-from-home for out of town families with children needing to receive critical treatments at a children's hospital. This charity means a lot to us because Marc's sister and her husband, who live in Sudbury, needed to stay at the Ronald McDonald House in Hamilton for 10 months while their daughter was hospitalized. There are 12 Ronald McDonald houses in Canada, two of which are closest to our hearts: Toronto and Hamilton. Donations can be made using one of the following methods:

• By mail, through the funeral home: click on G.H. Hogle Funeral Home, then "Online Condolences", then on "Ouellette, Joséphine Marie-Adèle", then on "Place a Donation", and follow the instructions. You will be given an address to mail your donation to when finished.
• Online, to the Ronald McDonald House in Toronto. Click on their donation page, and click on "donate online", and follow the instructions.
• Online, to the Ronald McDonald House in Hamilton. Click on their main page, and click on the "Click here to Donate Online" link, and follow the instructions.
